Now I'm working on the editing of the Feature Film "Lo Más Importante de la Vida es No Haber Muerto". “Lo Más Importante de la Vida es No Haber Muerto ” is a tragic comedy that grotesquely tells the story of a man who at the age of 65 suddenly experiences the collapse of the essential aspects of his world, and discovers he has been living a lie.
“Lo Más Importante de la Vida es No Haber Muerto” is a humanistic tale of betrayal and forgiveness, set against a musical background and the Franco era in Spain, a period of political deceit and distortion of reality.
Workflow
I will edit in Final Cut Pro and do the Post in Shake, the grading will be done in Matrix; obviously some Photoshop and Motion will be also involved, and maybe some After Effects for the main title credits. I did my best to convince the directors to work in a completely DigitalCinema workflow: shoot with RED ONE at 4K, edit in 2K with Final Cut, do the post in Shake and grading in Matrix, but they want to work with chemical, so I didn't succeed! My plan is to update the work, here and on the Blog of the movie. If you're on Facebook, there is also a "lo mas importante de la vida es no haber muerto group " that has plenty of behind the scenes photos uploaded by the crew.
