to the weblogs... 
Yes here I am, finally, after 9 years with the same old personal site at jjrecort.freeyellow.com, started in 1995. When that free sites at freeyellow.com closed I had to do something... but I have no time.
Thousands of ideas but not time to perform. If you put together this with no time also to write emails to all my friends (yes, I know, no excuses, no forgiveness) and this could be a good way to do both.. personal page and keep my friends up to date with my life.
And thanks to Stephy and her weblog www.nerdgirl.com (one of the best around the net) I get into this blogging thing. so... anyway this is the first post, just to test the system! |

 Now I'm working on the editing of the Feature Film "Lo Más Importante de la Vida es No Haber Muerto".
The Shooting has just finished today and I will be involved with this until at least Summer 2009. This is one of the most exciting projects that I have been involved in many time! “Lo Más Importante de la Vida es No Haber Muerto ” is a tragic comedy that grotesquely tells the story of a man who at the age of 65 suddenly experiences the collapse of the essential aspects of his world, and discovers he has been living a lie.

 Electric Minis will be available in Cal in 2009
Not that electric MINIs are anything new, but unless you were willing to pay for all the mods yourself, procuring one wasn't exactly simple. Now, however, we're hearing that MINI itself will be bringing scads of these buggers to American streets in the summer of 2009. Yeah, like, one year from right now. MINI USA VP Jim McDowell was the source of said statement (so it's pretty much official, yeah?), though he didn't mention whether all of them would be reserved for California or if they would be available sold out nationwide. Hey MINI, we'd say you've got a hit on your hands. |

In a couple of weeks I'm going to shoot for first time with the RED camera in RAW 4K... it's a VideoClip for a local band directed by Tito Gifré (link in spanish).. all in his Studio.. so we can control everything.. it's gonna be an interesting experience! and a test drive for my next feature which it's going be also shot in RED.

 El diario de Ana Frank - primer encuentro con Kitty
Semble que ultimament estic triomfant a Madrid amb els musicals. En els ultims 6 mesos n'he fet els visuals de 3 dels 5 que actualment hi han en cartellera a la capital d'Espanya: "Jesucristo Superstar", "Quisiera ser" i ara el 28 de Febrer s'estrena "El diario de Ana Frank".
A més seguint en el món de l'espectacle, vaig treballar en el guió i el disseny de video de l'Opera "La hija del cielo" de La Fura del Baus si be en aquest no vaig poder realitzar els videos ni estar al "fregao" de la programació i assaigs per conflictes d'agenda, ja que al Septembre s'estrenaven tres coses a l'hora i amb dos encara puc, pero treballar amb La Fura sempre requereix dedicació absoluta i desconexió total de la resta de la teva vida personal i laboral. |
